20. Should I practice transitioning?
You’ve trained hard in swimming, cycling, and running to achieve a stellar performance in your triathlon. It would be a real shame to waste a lot of time transitioning between the different events. That’s why we definitely recommend practicing transitioning.
We offer transition clinics at several of our races. During these clinics, you’ll receive instruction from an experienced triathlete and have the opportunity to thoroughly practice the various aspects of a proper transition. You’ll receive tips on how to properly set down your gear and practice walking with your bike. This will make you even more confident at the start of your first triathlon.
